Benjamin Netanyahu voted out as Israel’s prime minister, with Naftali Bennett to take over…

A 60-59 vote Sunday will make Naftali Bennett the new prime minister of Israel, ending the lengthy tenure of Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu had been the country’s prime minister since 2009. Netanyahu now becomes the opposition leader, and will still be atop the Likud party. Naftali Bennett, the leader of the New Right party, was once an ally of Netanyahu, but has since become an adversary. #Netanyahu #Bennett #PrimeMinisterofIsrael #politics #Likud #2021
